they originated as a final project for an online character design class i was taking that year,
but i quickly grew attached and they took on a life of their own.
it's funny looking back and seeing luna relegated as a "side character" during this time.
maybe her design was so appealing to me i thought she deserves as bigger role, so i could draw her more often~
millie (the leftmost, one-eyed character) is one of the earliest designs i had for students -- and she's lived
rent free in my head since then. she, luna, and mimi probably have the least changed designs throughout the years.
the conjoined horns character on the right is probably the earliest iteration of dion ~ not really emulating her personality or
current fashion styling sensibilities.
