Astrodyne Academy
is a prestigious university with a rich history as a castle stronghold during the Draconic Calamity that occurred several centuries ago. Over the last few centuries, Astrodyne gradually flourished -- becoming globally renowned for its extensive research accolades in the arcane arts and sciences. The academy's esteemed reputation precedes it - currently restricting its student admissions to only those exclusively invited by the current Headmaster Penumbra herself.
Less importantly, over a year ago, a scholarly witch named Atlas Morningstar dropped out of Astrodyne Academy for unknown reasons. Only just this fall, have they returned for the new school year with a new look, a new opalescent glint in their eyes, and a new mysterious tome latched onto their belt. Besides stirring chaos amongst former and new friends, Atlas's unexpected return slowly unveils the secrets behind the school's true nature and history.

Astrodyne Academy is a collection of self-indulgent projects - from short comics to illustrations and a visual novel - starring a zany cast of original characters. This world means so much to me – it's a story centered around grief, newfound purpose, and different types of love – all of which are subjects that fascinate my brain and remain close to my heart.
If I had to describe the sensation that Astrodyne Academy gives me - it would be like when you laugh so hard that your face starts to ache – or wake up feeling sore and with your voice being totally shot after a fun night out. A temporary pain worth bearing for the memories we share. Creating works for Astrodyne helped me process and get through one of the worst years of my life. It’s a reminder of why I loved creating art in the first place - a reminder that love can guide us through trauma and tragedy if we let ourselves be vulnerable – if we nurture the connections we have to our passions and with each other. I hope that as you peruse through this site, it inspires you to pursue your own passions and support others doing the same.
